The Central California Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force partners with several agencies to accomplish our goals. The Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP)
We currently operate under a grant from OJJDP. This grant made it possible for ICAC to start in 1998 and continues to fund it today.
The United States Attorney's Office
The United States Attorney's Office in Fresno, California has been a constant partner in working to prosecute Internet facilitated crimes aimed at children. Additionally they have begun working with us through the U.S. Attorney General's Project Safe Childhood to spread education and promote Internet safety in communities throughout Fresno.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC)
NCMEC is the national clearing house for resources concerning missing and exploited children. This is an outstanding organization with numerous resources for assistance and education.
ICAC Training and Technical Assistance
The Training and Technical Assistance program helps law enforcement by partnering with Fox Valley Technical College, Search.org and federal agencies to bring us the best training in the arena of online investigations.
Homeland Security Investigations (ICE/HSI)
ICE/HSI is a tremendous help with their Operation Predator program and investigative assistance. ICE/HSI special agents assigned to the Task Force are federal criminal investigators with training in combating online child pornography and other internationally related crimes.
